St. Thomas Aquinas bulldozing everything in its path

St. Thomas Aquinas is off and running to a fantastic start to the 2015 season.  The Fort Lauderdale squad is 3-0 with three 20+ point wins.  Aquinas is not only winning games, but dominating every opponent they face.

With Jake Allen at the head of offense, the Raiders’ attack has yet to be contained.  The junior quarterback has been sensational every time the ball is in his hands.  Allen has a combined nine touchdowns and 569 yards with a completion percentage of 0.695.

Senior Sam Bruce has been Allen’s favorite target, reeling in 14 catches for 174 yards and 3 TDs in the early season.

On the other side of the ball, St. Thomas Aquinas’ defense has been impenetrable.  Junior linebacker Drew White leads the way with 15 solo tackles and 3 assists.

Together, these three players have led their team to three emphatic victories.  First, the Raiders took down Booker T. Washington, one of Florida’s most consistent teams, in a 35-3 triumph.  Next came a 48-18 W over Miramar, followed by a 43-20 result against Plantation.

With such a strong display of talent, the Raiders have earned the No. 2 rank in the DigitalSports National Football Rankings.  St. Thomas Aquinas looks to continue to tear through its opponents in an attempt to seize the coveted top-spot.

The next team standing in Aquinas’ path is Cypress Bay on September 18.  Kickoff is at 7:00pm.
